Walter Larkins, is currently President of CDR Benefits and Insurance Services, LLC HQ in Long Beach CA which provides 'Life Solutions to Individuals, Employers and their Employees'. Walter utilized programs funded through the Department of Labor to develop an innovative model for recruiting, hiring and training that has enabled his companies to grow rapidly while reducing training cost and employee turnover. He is a serial entrepreneur who has founded a number of companies including Endosurgical Development Corp. (EDC) that developed devices for minimally invasive heart surgery and was profitably sold to a publicly traded company; and Envision Associates Inc., a successful consulting firm that focused on assisting entrepreneurs, start-ups, and midsize companies in developing their business plans and strategies. Walter is an Army Veteran, achieving the rank of Captain, attended Boston University's European Division MBA program, the US Military Academy at West Point, and is a graduate of UCLA, where he was a ROTC scholarship winner.  He is a commissioner on the LA County Workforce Investment Board as Co-Chair of the Business Services Committee and participates on a number of non-profit boards and organizations including Long Beach Rotary, California Council of Equality & Justice, and E=O2™ Foundation.

Kim Parker.jpgKim Parker is the President and CEO of the California Employers Association (CEA).  CEA is a not for profit human resource association, established in 1937, that assists over 9000 businesses in California with human resource solutions. Kim is an experienced HR Generalist, a dynamic speaker and a proven leader who has been thoroughly immersed in human resources and operations for over 25 years. She earned her BA degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Human Resources, at the University of Puget Sound.  Kim is a founding member of the Employers Association of America, a National Network of local workforce solutions and was their Board Chair from 2011-2012. Kim sits on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Workforce Investment Board and was their Board Chair from 2009 - 2014.  Kim, as appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in 2013, currently sits on the California State Workforce Investment Board. She also resides on the California Workforce Association Board and, as of 2014, is a member of their Executive Committee.

 

Cindy Hirsch.jpgCindy Hirsch is a Revenue Cycle Analyst with CDR Financial Services, LLC. She is has extensive experience in accounts receivable management, audit, corporate financial planning, business operations, marketing, and customer service. Cindy has over 25 years experience working with a variety of businesses, including Healthcare organizations, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors,   service organizations. She developed methods to analyze and evaluate complex operations,  and identify areas of operational risk, and has successfully assisted hundreds of organizations to identify problem areas, establish goals, define objectives, create metrics-based business processes,  and implement procedures that improve profitability and maximize cash flow.  She is a member of a number of non-profit boards and civic organizations.

Curtis Kaiser - JD-MBA.jpgCurtis Kaiser, JD/MBA is founding attorney of Kaiser Law Group and is a one of only three Board Certified Specialists in estate planning specialist in the Long Beach, California area. He adeptly guides families, individuals, and small business owners on creating estate plans that minimize taxes, costs, and complications while maximizing simplicity, ease of implementation, and family harmony. Curtis purposely focuses on building relationships with clients and their trusted advisors,   rather than merely producing documents or conducting legal transactions. Mr. Kaiser began his legal career over a decade ago as a litigator with Morrison & Forester in Orange County, which was California’s largest law firm at the time. He opened the Kaiser Law Group in Long Beach, California in 2007. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his J.D. degree from Santa Clara University, where he was named a Dean’s Fellow and received a 100% tuition and books merit scholarship. Mr. Kaiser also has an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business. Mr. Kaiser is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California, the Long Beach Bar Association and the Estate Planning & Trust Council of Long Beach. He is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of California as well as the federal courts located in California.

Jerry Pirozzi is a tax principal with Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt, LLP’s Long Beach office specializing in income tax compliance matters related to partnerships, limited liability companies, S corporations, high net worth individuals, tax compliance, tax planning and general business consulting services for a variety of clients. Jerry has extensive experience regarding property tax compliance matters and has been a client representative before state/county boards in property tax valuation appeal hearings and negotiations. He has also been a client representative regarding California sales/use tax compliance matters. Additionally, Jerry has worked with many clients related to tax incentive programs: most notable is the California Enterprise Zone credit program. He assists clients in closely-held, owner-managed businesses in industries ranging from hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, shipping and transportation, as well as web and print media. Jerry received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s in taxation at the University of Southern California. Jerry is a member of the California Society of Certified Accountants.
